larryLarry Richards, Executive Producer, Writer, Videographer and Editor has compiled a significant track record in the areas of producing, videography, writing and editing.

A native of the Riverdale section of the Bronx, Richards began his career as a photojournalist with a CBS affiliate in Macon, Georgia. After two successful years there he was asked to join the largest full-service television production company in Macon as a videographer and editor. Soon after he was promoted to Production Manager where he not only oversaw all aspects of production, but also often produced, shot and participated in the editing of local and regional television commercials as well as corporate and industrial videos. Within two years, he and the Television Production Group (TPG) won two Telly Awards and numerous regional ADDY awards including a “Best of Show” for a 30 second television commercial. Richards was also instrumental in TPG’s participation in Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation project.

Hollywood was the next logical step where for almost a decade Larry worked on numerous feature length theatrically released films, network television shows and music videos.

After the birth of their first son, The Richards family moved to the Tampa/St. Pete area. Larry worked as a photojournalist and editor with a St. Petersburg-based television news station where he won a 1st place AP award for photojournalism.

Felicia Richards has worked in numerous areas of entertainment. She started out as a stage actress and fashion model in New York. When she moved to Georgia, Felicia continued to work as a model in both print and television having appeared in numerous local and regional commercials. After moving to Los Angeles with her husband, Felicia begain working in television and feature film. For almost a decade, she worked in the realm of Talent and Literary representation, feature film production and live-show Stage Managing.

 

 

joelJoel Poiley, Producer/Writer, Content Editor
Joel Poiley has more than 30 years of sports journalism experience with newspapers and magazines. His work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, USA Today Sports Weekly, Baseball America, Becketts Baseball Monthly and Legends Magazine.

Mr. Poiley has reported on professional and college athletics, including Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles baseball, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football and University of Maryland and University of South Florida athletics. He has also worked for Associated Press covering Tampa Bay Lightning hockey.

Mr. Poiley is currently a magazine editor for a Department of Defense military publication. Prior to that, he was a web editor and assignment editor with Bay News 9, a 24-hour cable news station.

During his 14 years with the Tampa Tribune, Mr. Poiley was a writer, editor and projects coordinator. Among the projects he produced were an investigative series on injuries to former National Football League players and a look at the sports card industry.

Mr. Poiley has won several awards for community journalism, and in 1996 received the Florida Society of Professional Journalists Award of Excellence for a feature article on Cal Ripken’s pursuit of Lou Gehrig’s consecutive game streak.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in journalism and creative writing from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Florida Press Club, the Florida Sportswriter’s Association and the Florida Freelance Writers Association.

Mike is recognized as one of the best film, television and video editors in the southeast having edited, and often directing, feature films, television episodes, commercials and industrials His creative film editing skills have been showcased in “18-The Movie,” (starring Dee Wallace-Stone and Joyce Dewitt) “Telling Nikki Goodbye,” (featuring Helen Stophel) and the independent feature “The Lords Of Los Angeles” (starring Clancy Brown, Eddie Ebell, Kyle Heffner, and Leanza Cornett).Over the past twenty years, Mike has written, directed and edited hundreds of projects for national clients such as Bank Of America, Mayo Clinic, The MBA, BellSouth, Popular Science Magazine, and American Express. His production awards include the gold statuette from The International CINDY Film Competition, Best Music Video for Jimmy Hill’s “Stop The Violence” at BET’s Diamond Festival, and recently swept the Best Director category at the Crystal Reel Awards. Mike also directed three episodes of Your Wildest Dreams, a Twilight Zone-style television series on the UPN network. The episodes included “Roll ‘Em,” “Unorthodox,” and “Dead On Your Feet.”

Mike’s direct-response work (commercials and infomercials) have been highly successful. They have included Amway, Order Out Of Chaos, AWS, Pennies For Profit, Noni Juice, The Flat Mop, The Slush Mug, GNO, Bioforce, Desert Burn, The Remake, Fuel Freedom International, Xziex, The Dikembe Mutombo Foundation, and Alzare, to name a few. Alzare hit #33 on the IMS charts, and is considered widely successful, generating over 40 million in profits. Mike’s music video credits include Jimmy Hill’s “Stop the Violence”, “Clockhouse – The Last True Great Pretender” (MTV Europe), and “Neil Champagne – Mean To Me,” (VH1 - featuring John Otto of Limp Bizkit). In addition, Mike’s won two Telly Awards for his infomercial work.
